This piece is one in a series titled Border Crossings. In it two powerful dreamworlds of mine merge; the wildness of Big Sur's oceans and canyons surrounding the calm reflection of the Catskill forest. Over the years I’ve lived in and returned to both places. In many ways this image evokes the memory of deep ceremony, sacred space and much personal reflection I've experienced in each.
